Alice Wong
Alice has three little ones. As a project director for Welcome Enterprises, she is responsible for initiating and overseeing the production of book projects, from concept through final manufacturing. In addition to Moms, she is also the coeditor of numerous titles in Welcome's Little Big Book series (including God's Children, Grandmothers, Boys, and Girls).
Born in Hong Kong and a graduate of New York University, Alice currently resides in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, with her husband Clark and their three daughters.
Lena Tabori is the founder of Welcome Enterprises and is currently the director and publisher of Welcome Books, the imprint under which the company publishes illustrated books. In addition to overseeing the development, production, operation, and promotion of Welcome's publishing program, Lena continues to conceive, edit, and produce book projects, as she has done throughout her long career as a publishing professional.
She was responsible for creating the first two titles in the successful Little Big Book series: The Little Big Book of Christmas and The Little Big Book of Love, which were both published by William Morrow. Since then, Lena has been the co-editor of many of the subsequent Little Big Books, including Moms and Dads, all published by Welcome Books. There is a total of 27 now.
A native of Sweden, Lena lives in East Hampton and New York with Frank Rehor. She has two daughters, Natasha and Katrina, both of whom are "in the business."
